Write about the amount of trade the U.S. has with the rest of the world. Consider the amount and type of imports and exports that the U.S. is involved in. Who are our largest trade partners? What types of goods are traded? What barriers to trade have been suggested by President Trump? Why did he propose these barriers?
How have our trading partners responded? Find specific examples. Do you believe that government intervention in trade justified? Feel free to use outside sources but make a reference page.
